CSRME Held the First Video Meeting on International Exchange and Cooperation in 2020

On March 12, 2020, Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME) held its first video meeting on international exchange and cooperation in 2020 under the background of COVID-19 prevention and control. 
The meeting was presided over by Prof. He Manchao, President of CSRME and ISRM NG China. Prof. Xia-Ting Feng, President of CSRME, Prof. Yang Qiang, ISRM VP at large, and Prof. Wang Mingyang, Vice President of the ISRM NG China, Ms. Wenli Xu, Secretary General of ISRM NG China attended the meeting. 

The following leaders and experts also attended this meeting. Yang Xiaojie， Secretary General of CSRME, President of FedIGS JTC2, 9 Presidents of 8 ISRM Technical Commissions. There were 29 people attended the video meeting, including relevant leaders and staff of CSRME, President of CSRME Japan Branch, as well as North America Branch, and other leaders and staff of CSRME Secretariat. 
  
At the meeting, Chinese rock mechanics and engineering scholars working in international academic organizations reported the work in related organizations. The participants exchanged views and discussed the problems existing in the current work and explored the next work plan.
