Review Meeting for 12th CSRME Science and Technology Awards Successfully held

Academician He Manchao, the President of the CSRME, first introduced the policy basis, procedures and implementation details of the recent reform of the CSRME Science and Technology Awards. Professor Yang Xiaojie, the secretary-general of the CSRME, introduced the members of the Review Committee, and presented the application status, online evaluation results, as well as the regulations for the review meeting. The grand prize, first prize and second prize were reviewed one by one during the Review Meeting. According to the relevant regulations and rules, 4 grand prizes, 14 first prizes, 20 second prizes, and 1 alternative first prize were finally selected.

The CSRME Science and Technology Awards consist of Natural Science Award, Technical Innovation Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award. The CSRME Science and Technology Awards are reviewed once a year and will be conferred to individuals or organizations who make innovative contributions to rock mechanics and engineering science and technology, promote the progress of rock mechanics and engineering science and technology, improve economic and social benefits, and enhance environmental safety.
