Cooperation Agreement on the "Rock Mechanics Bulletin"Signed by the CSMRE and Keai Press

In order to promote scientific and technological innovation, transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, promote scientific and technological progress, and build a first-class society, the CSRME is promoting the construction of top-class journals. On March 3, 2022, the CSRME and Keai Press signed a cooperation agreement on the "Rock Mechanics Bulletin". The signing meeting and ceremony was held in Beijing. Academician He Manchao (The President of the CSRME), Mr. Chai Zhao (The Deputy General Manager of Keai Press, Professor Yang Jun (The Executive Vice Secretary-General of the CSRME), Dr. Niu Jingrui (The Vice Secretary-General of the CSRME), Professor Zhang Fengshou (The Part-time Vice Secretary-General), and Li Jinze (The publisher of Keai Press) attended the ceremony.

From November 2021, the CSRME began to prepare for the establishment of a new journal "Rock Mechanics Bulletin". The CSRME always believed that journals were not only an important field for publishing scientific research results, but also an important carrier for promoting theoretical innovation and knowledge innovation. The new journal carries the high expectations of generations of scientists and publishers, and will play an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of science and technology and spreading the scientific and technological culture. 

Keai Press stated that the journal "Rock Mechanics Bulletin" is of great significance to improve the academic influence of science and technology workers in the field of rock mechanics and engineering. Keai Press will cooperate with Elsevier on the publication and trusteeship of the "Rock Mechanics Bulletin", and dedicated to providing assistance for the CSRME to run the journal well and publish more important academic achievements.
