Dr. Quan Zhang from China University of Mining and Technology Awarded Runner-Up for the ISRM Rocha Medal

Recently, the ISRM announced the results of the 2025 Rocha Medal selection. Quan Zhang from China University of Mining and Technology received the Runner-Up certificate for his doctoral dissertation titled Investigation on Principles and Applications of Directional Rock Breaking by Instantaneous Expansion. Zhang was recommended for this award by the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering.
