The First Photo Contest with the Theme of Popular Science Launched Officially by CSRME

The CSRME held the "The First Photo Contest" from May 20 to June 30, 2020. The purpose of this contest is to facilitate the cultural creation, promote the scientific spirit, and spread scientific knowledge by combining the photographic art and popular science, to form a good atmosphere of "Talking about science, Loving science, Learning science, and Using science" in the whole society, gather people's spiritual strength extensively, and offer help to "scientific prevention and control".

With the support of CSRME members and scientific and technological workers, during the contest there are a total of 129 photographic works received from scientific researchers, engineering technicians and students. After public voting and photography experts' reviewing, the award-winning works include: one best work, five excellent works, three popular works, seven shortlisted works.

All of the award-winning works will be showcased at the annual conference of the CSRME (China Rock 2020).
