Review Meeting on Key Technologies of Safe Construction in the Multi-dimensional Extension Process of Subway under Complex Environments was held in Beijing

On July 29, 2021, the CSRME held the review meeting on " Key Technologies of Safe Construction in the Multi-dimensional Extension Process of Subway under Complex Environments " in Beijing, which is the China Railway Construction Corporation Limited's 2020 Scientific Research Project.

To solve the difficult construction problems such as underneath pass, multi-dimensional extension, vertical storey-adding, and interconnection in the six transfer stations in Beijing and Jinan. The research team planned to develop new technologies of the active settlement control, the extension of the existing station, and multi-dimensional expansion of complex interchange stations through make theoretical derivation, numerical simulation, lab and on-site tests.

After questioning and discussion, the review committee believed that the method was appropriate, the technical route was feasible, and the plan was reasonable. the review committee further pointed out that the multi-dimensional extension of subway stations and different extension types should be focused in the future.
